Friday night we worked on Zoë's school project. We have to disguise a turkey. She wanted to turn her turkey into a peacock. Chris painted eagle feathers to look like peacock feathers. He did an awesome job.

We still have to disguise his face and color his feet as soon as we get home.
Saturday we we had lunch with Chris's mom and sister and then just hung out at the hose. Shelby was home for the weekend. We ate at Shane's Rib Shack. I'm not a big fan of bbq, but their cheeseburger was really good.
Saturday night was THE game. We watched the Bama/LSU game with our friends the Goff's.

We have such a great time hanging out with them. (Sorry about the quality of the photos.)

And our bobbsey twins have a blast too! We tend to keep them up very late (last night it was 12:30am before we left), and they get sort of irritable when it's time to leave. (That's the understatement of year btw.) Last night though there was no crying as we were leaving.

After the game, the boys had to relieve some frustration by killing some zombies.
Sunday morning we did some running around and then dropped Zoë off to spend the day with Shelby and Sweet Pea while Chris and I went to shoot guns with Todd and Melissa. After getting some instructions from Mr. Ralph (Todd's dad), the same instructions my husband has been giving me for the past 2 years, I did pretty darn good. :) I had a lot of fun.

Now we are about 5 minutes from the house and gotta get ready for the week ahead. Thankfully it's a short one for me. Only 3 days!
