Weekend Trip to Birmingham

This past weekend we went up to Birmingham. The weather was horrible in Mobile, but it was just as bad up there. We did some shopping (I needed new riding boots) and ate at Jim N Nicks.


Chris knows his way around Birmingham just as well as he does Mobile. He joked about living a double life. Oh the joys of being married to an outside salesman. LOL!


We went to Dicks Sporting Goods to try on some gloves.


And practice swinging. But after some more discussion, we've decided to not register Zoë for softball. We just don't think that sport would hold her interest for very long.


After a day of shopping, we went and watched Star Wars Episode 1.



Sunday we met up with Chris's parents and headed to Talladega. Chris's dad was going to do the driving experience, but due to the weather, it was cancelled. So it looks like we're going to be taking another trip up there this year. Hopefully, the next time the weather will cooperate.
