Saturday we didn't have any major plans, so we spent the day running some errands. We're thinking about getting new carpet and remodeling the house a bit, so Lowes was our first stop. After Lowes, we made our way down Airport Blvd to Sams and Best Buy.
Zoë enjoyed riding in the very back of the Explorer.
We then ate lunch at The Hungry Owl.
We ended our errands with a trip to Target. We walked through the toy section. Zoë had fun reading words off the boxes of toys she wants for her birthday. It's so amazing to watch her read. It's very impressive.
We then went to Chris's parents' house for dinner and cake. His Grandma made red beans and rice with sausage, and his mom made a strawberry lemonade cake. Both were delicious.
Zoë helped wash the dishes.
After dinner, we headed to the Goff's house to play Headbands and well, just hang out.
This game was a lot of fun for everyone. It's hilarious to play with Zoë and Parker.
