A few weekends ago we had family in town from Pennsylvania. They were staying in Pensacola, so we headed over there for the weekend. We ate dinner at McGuire's Irish Pub. We've driven past it a gazillion of times with no desire to eat there. If I'm in Pensacola, my restaurant of choice is Crabs on Pensacola Beach. Well, needless to say, we WILL be eating here again. The steak was phenomenal!
Saturday we got up early and headed to the beach. The weather was perfect: warm and sunny. The water was freezing, but that never stops Zoë and Chris from having a blast. We got Zoë a boogie board, and she spent the majority of the time riding in the waves. She is just like her daddy! She loves the water.
When they weren't in the water, they were playing in the sand. Zoë has always loved the sand. I think it's her favorite part of the beach. It's my least favorite. Especially when we're leaving. That afternoon we drove down to Destin and ate lunch at one of our favorite places there: Dewey Destins.
We had such a great time spending time with family.
