Reading Rainbow and Red Shoes

So last night while Chris and I were playing Words with Friends, Zoë was snuggled up next to me on the couch.


Out of the blue, she starts reading the words on the board. Those reading labs at school are definitely paying off!



This morning while we were getting ready to leave, Zoë was about to ask me for a piece of gum, but in mid-sentence she stops and says, "oh, my! I LOVE your shoes!! Let me see!" Proof she is my child. :) She loved them so much she said we had to take a picture. I do love that kid.
