Bi-Polar Weekend

This weekend has been kinda of bi-polar weekend weather wise. Yesterday was absolutely beautiful! We spent the day doing some shopping, playing outside on a huge blow up slide at a friend's birthday party, and ending our day laughing and cutting up with the Goff's.

Today, however, started off with some thunderstorms that turned into a constant rain, and now it's just overcast. But we've had a blast just hanging out at home! Go ahead and mark that down because it rarely EVER happens.

We've watched movies and just goofed off.

Zoë and I built a fort, and even Leo got in on that action. If you've never built a fort in your living room with blankets and furniture as a kid, you're missing out.

We also did another practice run of Zoë's birthday cake. It's a tradition for Chris to make Zoë's cake. And if you know my husband, it's go big or go home in all that he does. It's one of the many things I love about him. (She's not having a superhero party. He's just practicing using his new airbrush gun.)

Zoë even tried it out.

We've had a great weekend and can't wait for the next. :)
