Disney Day 2

Day 2 of Disney was a very special day. It was Zoë's 7th birthday!
We've decided to make it a tradition to celebrate her birthday here.

We started the day with a trip to the Bibbiddi Boppiditi Boutique. Zoë had her heart set on being Queen Elsa from Frozen, but according to the Fairy Godmother, there were absolutely zero Elsa costumes anywhere.

So Zoë decided to be dad's favorite princess: Belle. There are many different packages you can do, but we get the Crown package. It comes with hair, makeup, nails, dress and accessories, and professional photos. Zoë wears the dress the rest of the trip and that hair does not move for days!!
It rained all day, but that didn't stop us. A little side story about the pic with Ariel. We waited in line for 30 minutes thinking that we were going to be riding the Ariel ride, but we were in the wrong line. So after we got our picture, we went and rode the ride.
A few years ago, Zoë's favorite fairy, Vida, taught her a little trick that Zoë had to perform while we were waiting in line to see Tink and Silvermist.

We rode Splash Mountian a few times, and one of those times, Zoë wanted to ride by herself.
It kinda made me sad that she is big enough to ride a ride all by herself. Technically she could ride this ride by herself for years now, but she never asked to. She's always wanted her dad or I to ride with her. Maybe that's what makes me sad.
Zoë's birthday dinner was at Be Our Guest. And yes, the grey stuff is delicious.

Zoë found a hidden Mickey while we were waiting on our table.
We were seated in the rose garden dining area. (BOG has 3 dining areas, the rose garden, the ballroom, and the west wing.)
She got a birthday card from Beast and Belle.

Beauty and the Beast. :-)
After dinner, we did Storytime with Belle, and got some autographs and pictures with some princesses.

We opened and closed Magic Kingdom. Our girl had a great birthday!
