This past weekend was Zoë's dance recital. Our weekend started on Friday with rehearsal. 
We practiced the ballerina bun at rehearsal.
I think I did a pretty decent job. That kid has such thick hair!
After rehearsal and dinner, we headed to Krispy Kreme (because it's closer to the house) to celebrate National Donut Day. Well luckily for us, all of our town was doing the same thing, so we headed to Dunkin (my favorite donut place).
The day of recital, I did Zoë's hair and she did her makeup. She did a very good job.
She had 2 dances. One for ballet and one for jazz.
She did such a good job on both! She even was able to join the scorpion line in her jazz number. That is a BIG deal. :-)
My mother in law took this awesome picture. I need to steal her memory card and download the pictures to my hard drive. I hope she continues dancing. She does so well, and I know she just loves it. We are so proud of her!
