Life's a Beach

This past weekend we went to Gulf Shores. We got there around 7:30 Friday night and didn't leave until 8:00 Sunday night.

Friday night we ate pizza and played UNO until 11:30.

Zoe's really good at UNO.

It's so cute hearing her say UNO when she has 1 card left. She says it with a Spanish accent. Thanks Dora and Diego! :)

I love this sleeping beauty!

What a view to wake up to!

Saturday morning we got up and took a walk around the condo complex and the beach. I love this picture of our footprints. I hope Zoe's feet are small like mine and not humongous like her father's. Ha!

Zoe doing what she loves best! Playing in the sand.

The weather was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

We rode up to Walmart to around 4 Saturday afternoon and Zoe past out in the car on the way there. She was so wore out that she didn't even budge when Chris got her in and out of the car, or when he carried he through Walmart.

Around 6 we tried to wake her up to eat dinner and so that she would be awake when our friends Matt, Lesley and their son Mattox arrived. But she wasn't having it.

This is the cutest little boy on the planet! He's so funny and so sweet.

Miss Priss eating breakfast before hitting the pool. Chris and Matt made some killer egg, cheese, and bacon sandwiches! Chris, you need to cook more often! You're really good at it. :)

From 10-4 this was Zoe's home! She stayed in the pool. It was a little on the chilly side (her lips stayed purple all day), but she didn't seem to care.

Some more of our friends came down Sunday.

We left around 8, and Zoe was past out before we made it to the interstate.

I was worried about how this morning was going to go. (She's not a morning person if you wake her up.) Luckily for me, she was in a very pleasant mood this morning.
