Columbus Day

I'm so thankful for Federal Holidays! :) Chris brought Zoë home from the office this morning, and she's been by my side ever since. I think she might have missed her momma. I know I missed her.


We went to the grocery store and then chilled at home all day.


She asked for oatmeal cookies, so we made some from scratch.


She is quite the little baker.


Of course she had to do it all herself.





They turned out sooo good! I should have read through the recipe before we started making the batter because we ended up with 48 cookies! At least they are oatmeal raisin and not chocolate chip. Somewhat healthy right?


I'm exhausted and should be asleep, but for some reason I'm wide awake. It took Zoë about 10 minutes before the above picture looked like this:
