2012 in Review

One of the greatest things about having a blog about our life adventures is being able to look back on the year.

In January we spent MLK day at the Gulf Shores Zoo and then ate lunch at LuLu's.

I think we are going to try to make this a yearly tradition.

In February, we had a blast celebrating Mardi Gras.

In March, Chris and I took our annual birthday ride. This year we made our way to Fredricksburg, Va and got to visit with my family up there.

It was one of my favorite trips of the year!

In April, we spent Easter in the mountains with our best friends. :)

In May, our baby girl turned 5!!

In June we spent a lot of time at the beach, lake, and river. :)

In July, Zoë rode on an airplane for the first time! She loved it.

We also spent some time with family in Pennsylvania.

In August, Zoë started Kindergarten. (Or K5 as we call it.)

In September we went to Disney World. Zoë was so excited to do the Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique.

In October we went on a spontaneous Harley ride to the mountains. There is no better way to see the colors of the mountains in the fall then on the back of a Harley.

We also got haircuts. Mine wasn't that big of a big deal, but little bit's was for sure. She got a good 6 inches cut off.

In November, we were back up in the mountains for Thanksgiving.

Some probably wonder why we go up there so much every year. For me that's where the love of my life asked me to marry him 8 years ago today, so it will always hold a dear place in my heart.

Plus, we get to play in snow! :)

In December we sold our first home and bought a new one. It's been stressful, but well worth it. Zoë and I also went to a Broadway play in New Orleans. This was her first, and she did really well.

We also celebrated Christmas which is always the best way to end the year: with family and fun!

Happy New Year everyone!
